Welcome to the 2018-19 school year. As a Haddonfield resident, parent and educator, I am very familiar with our district and am deeply invested in making our great community even better. In my new role as Interim Dean of Students at Haddonfield Memorial High School, I am here to offer you and your children support during their secondary education experience.
To me, working in education is an immensely enjoyable and fulfilling experience because of the great interpersonal and lasting relationships you make with families, students, colleagues and community members. I love to learn new things and commit to embracing innovation. This job has allowed me to explore these traits through experiences with STEM technology, robotics, computer coding, professional development, human dignity conversations, and others.
As Dean of Students, I am an advocate for students and oversee student affairs and clubs, discipline, attendance, student safety, emotional/social issues, and other tasks. I also work with the guidance department and school principal to supervise counseling, 504 committee, the I&RS team, and other intervention services.
I am looking forward to working with you and your children. I am always available to talk. Please feel free to reach out to me with questions or concerns. I look forward to getting to know you.
