Greetings:
I am pleased to introduce myself as the Director of Technology for Haddonfield School District, a role I have held since 2008. Prior to arriving at Haddonfield, I accrued more than 11 years of experience in educational technology, both as a full time employee of two other school districts and as an outside consultant working with over 30 districts in the state of New Jersey.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University as well as Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) recognition as a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
The Haddonfield Technology Department is composed of four professionals who strive to keep every device and system running efficiently to allow for greater productivity for staff, teachers, students and parents. We are continuously updating district software and hardware to keep our learning facilities close to the latest technologies. Our most recent projects include expanding 1:1 Chromebooks to Grades 5 through 8 and installing a new district-wide phone system.
In the district’s mission statement, we refer to:
Contemporary Teaching and Learning
We will empower learners to engage critically in a globally connected world through relevant content, innovative technology, flexible learning environments and purposeful experiences.
I am proud to be part of the team that makes this possible.
Sincerely,
John P. Miller
