My name is Gerry Bissinger, and I’ve had the privilege of serving as Principal of Elizabeth Haddon Elementary School since 2014. I have been connected to the Greater Haddonfield community for over 25 years.

Before stepping into the principalship, I spent five years teaching fourth grade at Elizabeth Haddon and one year as the district’s curriculum coordinator, experiences that gave me invaluable insight into our students’ learning journey from multiple perspectives. I hold a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dickinson College and master’s degrees in elementary education from the University of Pennsylvania and in educational leadership from Temple University. At Elizabeth Haddon, I’m committed to ensuring that every student receives an education tailored to their unique needs and strengths. I believe in creating a safe, supportive environment where our students feel empowered to take academic risks, ask questions, and discover their passions while developing both academically and socially-emotionally. It’s an honor to work alongside our dedicated faculty and staff as we nurture the next generation of learners.
