Greetings! I am Chief Academic Officer for the Haddonfield School District, and I am delighted to be here, in this warm, open-hearted, community! Although I have only been on the job since November 2018, I have already met so many skilled and passionate teachers, committed students, and supportive families. I am excited to move forward with all of you.
One way to see my job is as “lead learner,” bringing us together to build and support common goals for student learning. This means that I evaluate our curriculum for areas of improvement and work with stakeholders to help facilitate those changes. My lead learning is supported by cutting-edge learning science, state and federal guidelines, and input from community members, such as parents, teachers, board members, administrators, and community leaders.
As Chief Academic Officer, I spearhead the coordination of learning. This results in a consistent, fluid, and focused, K-12 curricula.
On a daily basis I am engaged in research, conversations with stakeholders to set and support curricular goals, planning for our work ahead, and delivering and coordinating professional development for our staff. I look forward to getting to know you!
